Founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879, the Church of Christ, Scientist furthers the understanding and practice of the teachings and healing of Jesus Christ.

Christian Science
Services are held Sundays, with Testimonial Meetings on Wednesday evenings. The Sunday service begins with a hymn, followed by a short reading, a moment for silent prayer and the audible repetition of the Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation as given in Science and Health with key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The body of the service is the reading of The Lesson-Sermon, comprised of citations from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, as found in the Christina Science Quarterly and studied during the week by Christian Scientists all over the world.
The Wednesday Testimonial Meetings begins with readings from the Bible and the Science and Health on a particular subject and is followed with testimonies on how the teachings of Christian Science are demonstrated in our everyday lives.
Christian Science Practitioners provide spiritual treatment through prayer on challenges of emotional, economic, and physical natures.
The principles of the Bible and Science and Health are applied along with the basic ideals of a loving God who cares for each of us.
Christian Science Nurses provide care to individuals who need physical help while relying on Christian Science treatment for healing.
